Community Service

Each NCL, Inc. Chapter promotes social awareness by considering the local community’s needs and selecting appropriate non-profit organizations to serve.  Each Chapter then supports its philanthropic service partners through different volunteer activities.  Philanthropies supported by our Chapter include:

Friends of Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Habitat for Humanity, Lawrence Street Healthcare Center, Lone Star College Library and Theater, Magnolia Historical Foundation, Malcolm Purvis Library, Moms Helping Moms, Operation Military Embrace, Project Linus, Society of Samaritans, Special Olympics, St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The Friendship Center of Montgomery County, The Friendship Center, The Woodlands Children’s Museum, Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries, and Tomball Pregnancy Center.

In the 2015-16 Chapter Year, our members worked over 5,000 hours supporting our philanthropic partners and assisted in the collection of over $14,000 in goods and services for to help our partners serve the needs of their clients.

We are excited to say that in the first 6 months of our current chapter year, we have already logged over 4,000 volunteer hours as a chapter.
